Alex Brito MA, LPC, TLLP, CAADC
FOUNDER
I am Alex Brito — a bilingual psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Michigan, specializing in couples therapy, family counseling, and emotional healing. With over fifteen years of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals, couples, and families rediscover connection, hope, and balance in their lives.
My approach combines warmth, cultural sensitivity, and scientific tools like the Gottman Method for Couples and Families, trauma-informed therapy, and evidence-based techniques that empower lasting growth. Whether you’re struggling with communication, anxiety, or family stress, I’m here to walk alongside you and help you rebuild a life filled with peace and purpose.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in places like Pine Rest Psychiatric and Rehabilitation Center, Bethany Christian Services, and Mercy Health’s Clínica Santa María, always serving with compassion — especially among the Latino, immigrant, and refugee communities. I also provide psychological evaluations for immigration cases (U visa, T visa, and VAWA), understanding the courage and emotional strength each process requires.
In addition to my private practice, I love sharing tools for personal and relational growth through community workshops and educational talks. Outside the office, I’m a husband, dad, and musician who enjoys good music, Dominican food, and deep conversations that feed the soul.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will listen, understand, and walk with you every step of the way — I’d be honored to support your journey toward healing and connection.
